Carlsbad has a wide range of rentals from luxury ocean view condos to large two story estate homes.  One of the more requested type of home are those properties located on one story.  It seems like this is becoming the trend as more and more people are looking for homes that accommodate a main floor bedroom which are incorporated into single level properties.  Carlsbad has so many great communities it would be hard to explain every single neighborhood where you could find one story homes.  With that being said some of the more popular places to look for detached single family homes would be like the La Costa area of Carlsbad.  There are many great one story properties located here that often come with a good lot size especially if it's an older home.

One of the great places to find rental homes near the beach is the Hanover Beach Colony community.  It's hard to get much closer to the beach from this neighborhood as it's just steps to the sandy beach and the Pacific Ocean.  Rental properties don't come on the market that often here that often and typically rent out during a short period of time.  A new rental listing just came on the market that features a total of 3 bedrooms with an approximate 2,142 square feet of living space.  It's listed for lease at $4,950 and is available for at least a minimum of a 6 month lease and may be rented unfurnished.  It will become available at the beginning of January 2021 and should go quick considering it's prime location near the beach.

A great place to find upscale rental homes in the La Costa area of Carlsbad is the exclusive La Costa Ridge community.  If you are familiar with this community you know that homes for sale rarely comes on the market and this is even more true for rental homes in this area.  One of the reasons for this is the community itself is rather small with a small inventory of homes built here.  A new rental listing just came on the market and has only been on the market for 7 days and has already received a rental application which the owners have accepted.  The four bedroom, five bath home features an approximate 3,641 square feet of living space and was newly built in 2009.  The home comes fully furnished and is listed for lease at $6,250 a month.

Aviara is a very popular area of Carlsbad that is located on the southern end of Carlsbad.  Numerous neighborhoods have been built around the Park Hyatt Aviara Resort and Golf Club as well as the Four Seasons Aviara resort.  There are miles of high quality golf courses, highly rate elementary and middle schools as well as lots of local shopping, restaurants and luxury movie theaters located in this area. Finding a Aviara home for rent can be more difficult than you think since the inventory of rental housing has been very limited in recent years.  This is especially true for long term rentals as more and more owners are electing to do vacation rentals on their properties due to the high rental income that can be achieved during the high season summer
